Peer Review Process

Journal of Economics, Business and Organization Research (EBOR) adopts a double-blind peer review system in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the evaluation process. Each submitted manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Reviewers are selected based on their academic expertise, research experience, and scientific competence directly related to the subject of the submitted manuscript.

Reviewer evaluations constitute the primary basis for the editorial decision-making process, and the final decision regarding publication rests with the Editor.

Reviewers are expected to assess the manuscript carefully and professionally, providing rigorous, balanced, impartial, and constructive feedback. In their reports, reviewers are asked to evaluate the following aspects:

• Theoretical and conceptual contribution
• Methodological rigor and analytical quality
• Clarity, coherence, and scholarly presentation
• Relevance to the journal’s disciplinary scope in economics, business, management, finance, public administration, and organizational studies
• Originality and contribution to existing literature

The peer review process aims to enhance the academic quality, reliability, and scientific integrity of all published study.

Before Accepting a Review Invitation

Before agreeing to review a manuscript, reviewers should ensure that:

• The manuscript falls within their area of academic expertise
• They are able to complete the review within the requested timeframe
• They have no conflicts of interest (financial, institutional, personal, or intellectual) that may compromise impartiality

If a reviewer identifies a potential conflict of interest or is unable to complete the review, they should promptly decline the invitation so that an alternative reviewer can be assigned.
