Editorial Decision Framework
Editorial Decision Outcomes
The Editor may make one of the following decisions based on the Editorial Decision Criteria and peer review evaluations:
• Accept: The manuscript meets the journal’s standards and requires no or only very minor revisions.
• Minor Revision: Limited revisions are required that do not affect the manuscript’s core contribution.
• Major Revision: Substantial revisions are required before further consideration; resubmission does not guarantee acceptance.
• Reject: The manuscript does not meet the journal’s academic standards or falls outside the journal’s scope.
Role of Reviewers in Editorial Decision-Making
Reviewer recommendations inform editorial decisions but are advisory rather than binding. The Editor may weigh reviewer comments independently and may seek additional evaluations when necessary.
Consistency and Fairness
The editorial team is committed to ensuring:
• Consistent application of editorial criteria across all submissions
• Impartial, unbiased, and objective evaluation
• Respect for diverse theoretical perspectives, methodological approaches, and epistemological traditions
