Aims and Scope
Journal of Economics, Business and Organization Research (EBOR) is an international peer-reviewed scientific journal that implements a double-blind review process to ensure adherence to scientific ethical principles and high scholarly quality. The journal aims to contribute to the advancement of theoretical, conceptual, and empirical research in the fields of economics, business, management, finance, public administration, economic sociology, labor and work sociology, and organizational sociology.
EBOR encourages high-quality studies that contribute to the accumulation of scientific knowledge and generate meaningful practical implications. The journal prioritizes research grounded in strong theoretical foundations, methodological rigor, analytical depth, and originality. In this respect, EBOR seeks to publish studies that advance both national and international academic literature.
In response to the increasingly interdisciplinary character of the social and economic sciences, EBOR particularly supports research positioned at the intersection of economics, business, management, and organizational sociology. Integrative approaches employing both quantitative and qualitative methods, offering comparative perspectives, and conducting multi-level analyses of organizations, markets, institutions, and public systems are especially encouraged.
EBOR values practice-oriented research supported by sectoral experience and professional expertise. Studies that strengthen knowledge transfer between academia and industry, support evidence-based managerial and public policy decision-making processes, and contribute to institutional development are given special consideration. In this context, the journal aims to enhance the interaction between scientific research and practical application, thereby contributing to both academic advancement and socio-economic development.
International academic collaboration constitutes one of the fundamental principles of the journal. EBOR welcomes contributions from authors, reviewers, and scholars representing diverse countries and academic traditions. In this respect, the journal promotes intellectual engagement and international comparative perspectives in economic and organizational research.
The journal publishes manuscripts in both Turkish and English. Articles written in Turkish are required to include an extended English abstract in order to enhance international visibility and academic dissemination.
