Copyright and Licensing Policy

The copyright and terms of use of manuscripts submitted to Economics, Business and Organization Research (EBOR) are regulated within the framework of scientific publication ethics, open access principles, and the applicable legislation.

For manuscripts accepted for publication in the journal, authors undertake that their study is original and does not infringe the copyright of third parties. In cases where tables, figures, visuals, datasets, or other materials included in the manuscript belong to third parties, authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions and for properly acknowledging such materials.

All articles published in EBOR are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). Under this license, the use, reproduction, sharing, and distribution of the works for non-commercial purposes are permitted, provided that appropriate attribution to the original study is given.

Authors can use their published studies on personal web pages, institutional repositories, or academic sharing platforms, in the form in which they are published in the journal and with proper citation. Such use must not violate the scientific integrity of the study or the terms of the license.

The Copyright Transfer Agreement signed at the time of manuscript submission enters into force only if the manuscript is accepted for publication. In cases where the manuscript is rejected or returned, the agreement shall be deemed null and void. Authors, while transferring copyright, retain their non-financial rights regarding the use of their works for academic and scientific purposes.
